All that was done with Reason but really trying to get into the Cubase and Virus TI now. It's a big switch!!

I do this occasionally, if a track is too slow to fit with the stuff i play, I use cubase pitch shift to knock it up a semitone without the time correction feature on. Speeds it up a few bpm and changes the key, no quality loss or anything.

If its a musical key change it can sound good, but also certain keys played over each other will sound dissonant and basically sound like ass...

can't the scale plugin in Ableton only be used in midi tracks, not audio ones?
