I think the original spoken part wouldn't have fit Ferry's style (At least this track's style).

I think the modified voice is the only thing I like about Ferry;s remix except the wonderful bassline.

Well, I don't like Ferry's remix that much because it's not like his Rank1 remix, weak and tender and dreamy... this one just feel weak to me.

I was very dissapointed of the CG remix of Punk as well but I prefer it.

are you talking about his remix of awakenings? cause if thats so this one's maybe worst than his remix of the truth
the original version of awakenings,benicio and cosmic gate are, for me, way better and more punching than the ferry's one. i agree that in the truth, it wouldn't have fit to keep the entire vocal.
