Ora = worst resto i've been to, hands down.
so we get there on time, are seated right away, but are not given any menus. we're given a wine list though. there's a sheet of paper with 5 courses written down and a small 45$ at the bottom of this paper. alright...i look through it, nothing really catches my eye. so maher asks our "waitress" (i don't know how much actual serving she did but anyway)...he asks her for the regular ora menu. she says flatly, no, we only have this set menu tonite for V-day. right away, i think that's poorly thought out. i had a choice of veal, beef or fish for my main course, none of which i wanted. and most of the other 4 courses tasted like vinegar and salt.
alright alright so i understand it's V-day and sometimes restos put into place set menus for busier nights such as that. okay! but why the hell 1) are we refused to have the regular menu WHEN IT'S CLEARLY REQUESTED and 2) are there at least 10 other people in that place reading and ordering off THE REGULAR MENU?!?!?!?!?! you're paying 200$ easily and i don't even have a choice? huh?!
anyways, i was still hungry after lol
