who said anything about policy? this man died for what he did to others and for what he did for others that didn't have the courage to do for themselves. read Iran.
for all he stood for, for everything you advocate, he was still just one man. he wasn't a government. he wasn't a state. HE WAS ONE MAN who killed many.
hell no. irrational responses is someone, like you, elevating this one man to a place where somehow in some twisted fucking logic it's justified in killing countless others in petty retalliation.
no dude, YOU have it twisted. Nasrahllah has it twisted elevating this garbage to repond in kind magnitudes...for this one piece of murderous garbage. |
Lol! I think I'm sane and rational enough to lift myself above the extremist emotional response this event has prevoked in you (for whatever reason)
This is NOT about an individual but about the wider impact on the situation between Hizballah and Israel. If Israel was behind this attack (which Hizballah believe, so it kind of makes the point a bit irrelevant) then it will result in revenge attacks that, lets face it, simply would not have occured were it not for this act.
So yes, it is ALL about policy, and this one, if perpetrated by Israel, was a fucking stupid policy!

i agree with both of you. its fucking stupid from israel if it was them, but people like this that live by the sword... |
AFAIAA, there is no evidence linking this to Israel (or America)
However, both countries have made comments that seemingly support the extra-judicial assassination as welcoming
And lets face it, nobody cares about an individual from Hizballah being killed, that is not the issue at all, the issue is what comes next...
...and whatever does come next, the blame is squarely at the door of Israel for engaging in hostilities (if it was them)
Other suspects would be among the anti-Syrian block in Lebanese politics, all more than capable, more than willing, and all with a track record of taking their enemies out by such means...you just have to ask youself what they would gain from such an action (and the obvious chain of events this will lead to)
