Very curious to see what type of thematic guidelines this one will be designed around.

I know the last one had a more 'peak-time' orientation to it, so it will be interesting to see what he does with this volume.

Didn't really find myself terribly interested in what volumes 1 and 3 had to offer, although I found 2 superb upon the very first listen.

Fuck yeah!!!

To those of you who think it's been too quick, Vol. 3 was released in September, that's a full 6 months! Perhaps it feels fast because it was so fucking good it's still getting heavy rotation on our players

There were a couple of good tracks on 3, but overall I couldn't really get into it.

Digweed's GU mixes > Transitions mixes. All of the Transitions mixes have been good, but nothing near the quality of Sydney, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Stark Raving Mad, MMII, Bedrock and Fabric 20. That said, I'm looking forward to the fourth installment of Transitions, but I don't have high expectations of it.

Looking forward to this one, though I said that about Vol.3 and it didn't really work for me.

I agree that some of the previous Transitions have not been the best but I will definitely be checking this out and hoping for greatness.

I've given all the Transitions discs a shot, but really have failed to get into any for a significant amount of time.

I liked the first a fair bit, loads of good tunes and solid flow - but it wore itself out on me fairly quick.

In general I just think I'm tiring of both Sasha and John. The GU years were a lot of fun, but they just don't do it for me like they used to.

I for one really enjoyed #3 (especially compared to 1 and 2)... the genres presented were very diverse and all across the board, but somehow, it worked and never really got dull, apart from maybe the 3rd quarter of it. And it had a fantastic finale too.

Quote from Digweed:

"Hi All

Just finished Transitions Vol 4
Really happy with it
Loads of edits and layering of tracks

Hope you like it

Out in April

Podcast up soon to give you a rough idea of whats on it
but you really need the whole mix as it really builds.

John"
