Sharon has some serious issues, his main problem is that his compain was too comlicated containing too many promises, everyone expects him to "lehikanes bahen" as we put it
And so he did, the thing is that he has no plan to come along with it... he tries to kill the terror within the palastinian authority but we all know that impossible (without a plan that is) as terror will keep reconstructing just sa you saw yourself in the bombin on Rishon-Letzion last night.
Sharon is stuck in the middle, on one hand he tries to keep up with usa's demands and on the other hand keep his reputation within the Israeli people and therefore attacks the palastinian authority.
Another problem with sharon is that he doesen't pay any special attention to the Israeli propaganda and so the world takes the palastinian side.
