anyway stereohead...thanks for listening. i know what you mean by defacement of prog and what is "true" prog as i am also a fan of those darker, dirtier beats. there are MANY different styles of prog. i started getting more and more into prog since i saw some of danny torrence's sets at stereo, specifically his last set during his b-day. i come from a rock & roll background....so my natural progression into EDM music was by way of electro house...i have recently been listening to much darker proggier beats, but my rock and electro roots will probably always stay with me and i think that it's reflected in this mix.

Ok so I listened.
The tunes themselves aren't my thing at all, too beatport "Progressive House" section for me.
But they do work well together and the mixing is pretty decent for 6 months of DJ'ing.
The flow is there, for sure, but it leaves a little to be desired regardless. That being said I could tell there was some good groove!
For a first posted set, quite good, but I'd look into branching out from that Electro-Prog sound and bringing in other elements to liven your set up, too much of the same can get tiresome.

Some more melodic tunes at the beginning would help to build the mood, also, I find that sets that are a bit less banging are more appreciated by at home listeners, save the bombs for the club!
Also check out www.juno.co.uk for some good tunes! If you play vinyl try Phonica also.
