I went there a few years ago, to Santorini, Ios, Thanos, Thessaloníki and Athens. It was in march so it wasn't quite warm enough to swim/sun bathe. All I have heard is that in the summer there is just waaaaaay to many people. Of course, if you're going to party then that's probably cool with you. I was there for more of a vacation and just relaxin.
If I remember right, one day I was walking around Thessaloníki and all I heard was EDM through teh streets. Everyone was drinking, dancing, and bassically partying at like 12pm. It was kinda cool, but you're not goign there ....just wanted to share. =)
Oh and those ferries can get quite expensive, get ready for that!
