95% without. Tracks like Not Over Yet with Grace and some of Mea Culpa's are highly complimented by vocals. Other times any voices just screw up a good instrumental.

Well like some others have said..so many songs would have gone no where without vocals.. I think there is a point where u have to draw the line though. Some songs are totally ruined with vocals. It all depends on the song and whether it's fitting or not. I'm listening to CHicane - saltwater right now and this song would be totally different w/out the vocals..

one of my favourite songs is heaven's earth and it's because of the vocals though. I've also heard remixes of rank 1 - airwave with vocals..and must i say I have never heard such garbage before..

So although they are important sometimes...they're not always necessary.

without the vocals you would only have some silly tunes, the vocals make it complete

Yeah it does depend... but it only can be a nice female vocal... there so many songs that sound better with vocal parts...and some sound better with no vocals...but i do love the vocal trance...but its all good too me...but no guy vocals thats teh only thing i wouldnt like....

Where would MAuro Picotto's Iguana and Lizard be without lyrics ? However i do agree that often long verses ruin a perfectely good track, e.g. Higate - Pitchin'
