I still do more than ever, but now it's called Dubfire. I don't really care for that "party all the time" shit. But they rocked it proper at cream 2006... ;-)
First the mix is very nicely done.
Second, There's a thousands different reasons, ways, and goals for being a DJ. At least Louis is being honest about it. As long as you are happy when you go to bed, makes no difference if you do it to party and pay your car or for the sound. As long as you have a crowd, no matter how big or small, and you make them happy.
People who don't like this set, already knew it before listening to it. They listen with hate and are just being an ass about it.

Trust me King Louis knows what he's talking about...
Don't you guys ever forget where he comes from and where he's at...
Top Aria Afterhours promoter and manager at 17
Resident DJ @ Aria by 19 (Got to love his face at that time when he played after all these top international djs that had all the weirdest machines playing and high bpm with f@#$ed up loops, and he always pulled his way through and manage to keep up the rythm when he taged on)
Resident DJ, promoter and booker @ Circus @ 20
Now at 21... All the best gigs in montreal, even saturdays at circus and Tribe... + producer of some of the major events in montreal... and if he's not producing it, he's in some way implicated...
Without him montreal would be living hell... techno wise
This guy knows what to do to get his career going, and like he says, or is it what we should read between the lines, wait on his productions...
I've been rooting for him since day 1, the reason: his HARD WORK and his service towards the scene... he invested a lot to keep us dancing to wicked international beats... time and money.
and of course an obvious reason, his talent, that DJ Dan qualified of prodigious the first time he spinned... in a house party... This tells a lot on the entourage he has the chance of having.
In brief, King Louis is THE man... even when he has to play commercial shit, he has this way of pleasing even the underground purist and old schooler that i am. Just got to love them royal sessions...
Party hard, dance harder !!!

Awesome set Louis.
You and I are on the same page. My deep down sound is the kinda shit you were getting at in here, yet at the same time I love getting wasted and rocking out to the bigroom mainstream shit at the club. All the haters can go fuck themselves; there's a time and a place for Villalobos, and there's a time and a place for Guetta. I feel sorry for those that can't appreciate both, because they're both great for their own unique reasons imo.
