To each his/her own indeed....and besides, with your creativity, I have no doubt that you could do anything you possibly wanted to if you wanted to alter the color, structure, etc...

I think it's pretty awesome personally. I like the hanging down amplifier shelf - is that made out of pine too? or is that metal? Some kind of plastic? It seems too flimsy to hold an amplifier to me if it's just wood...
