It's not just you, CDJ800 mk2s actually have a slight flaw in the looping. The patch released last month makes it a little better, but it's still not perfect.

Basically, if you hit the "in" button bang on a beat, then hit "out" a bit later, say it happens to be at 1m 20s 00f for example - it'll instantly return to the start point (in time), but it actually saves the out point a couple of frames later (say 1m 20s 02f)... so the next time it gets to the out point it returns slightly out of time, when it was perfect the first time.

This error is usually 2 frames, but sometimes it's only 1.

The solution to this is: as soon as you hit "out" (to start the loop), tap "out" again then tap the left hand "search" button twice - do that quickly before the track gets to the out point again and you'll be ok. Proper pain in the arse though.

I've never experienced this on a CDJ1000 - they've always looped pretty much perfectly in all the times I've used them (quite a lot!!)
