Stop and go animation is the best.

Most people have no idea how hard every episode was to complete!

They had to be so clever when writing the scripts, they didn't have a lot to work with. The true test, is that even though the stories and characters were simple, as an adult you can still appreciate it. Such simple, but humorous story telling.

My sister introduced me to Pingu many moons back....I remember thinking it was a weird/pointless cartoon and yet I couldn't stop myself from watching the entire episode....by the end of it I was really into it...
