It was ok, some of the remixes sounded sloppy to me and lacked focus. For me lately Steve Lawler has been really inconsistent. ************ I will still check out his music because he still has it in him, furthermore, whenever we see him live he puts it down. Although, it's kinds irritating how he never makes eye contact with the crowd and he always seems so disconnected from the everyone almost as if he is unaware that he is Djing in front of a shit load of people. Too each is own I guess, maybe he is shy, lol or just arrogant?? I am only speculating, however, music is music and I am in it for the love of the beat!

I like what Lawler is doing.

The originals of these passed few releases, ie:

Violet
Sleep Walking

And soon to be Femme Fatale (which is actually kinda nice)

have been meh, but the remixes have been more soild.

The Bushwacka! remix of Violet is damn good in my opinion, it's a shame EVERYONE bought it but that's the nature of the business these days.

Err, went off track, but my point was that he puts forward a tune that can be VERY easily remixed and then he lets the remixers of choice go to town and do some cool stuff.

I'm pretty sure 90% of your posts about music start off with a snide remark about how that artist sucks and yada yada, so please do fuck off.

Normally, at the very least, I wont write off entire artists as shit, unlike you.

Also, when it comes to our tastes in music, clearly they are different, but it isn't just me that finds YOUR taste "pissboring". There are quite a few people around here with excellent taste that find your artists of choice/tunes/mixes more along the lines of tonal tranquilizer.

I actually think you know your shit, and we actually agree more than we disagree, but you have to poke and prod and annoy until you get a reaction out of people. Then you cry when they retort and (it would seem) hold grudges against them when they post their HONEST opinons about your mixes, since I assume this is what this is about?

Also, please re-read my post as I didn't say I was some Lawler fan boy, I wrote that I thought what he was doing was cool, IE: getting remixers to work with an originally boring track and turn it into something cooler and better.
