well, i'm not the biggest tiesto fan, but the moby is absolutely great, i can't see why you don't like it, it has a great buildup, then the song just blows away further. the original moby, that sucks.

never liked that song...

don't get pissy at Tiesto because he made a few mediocre mixes! (totally agree with person who said that)

People say the same about Ferry and Armin too, lay off!

Noone can make great mixes all the time! (except Hybrid..... )

Shame / Disagreement Like a good sig I once saw

All I can think of when I think trance is what I saw on someones' sig.

Trance is like cars...........Dont Buy American

I tend to feel the same way about the way most Americans critique trance musik as a whole. I am from the states (Chicago) and had these types of views earlier when I first landed in the Trance genre.
Americans on the most part (mainly the ones that listen to all radio tunes) are not upto par with their music. They are stuck in a certain hole. Example. Here in northern Illinois there is only one station that plays dance music. Those of you here know how much shite that 92 7&5 plays. I almost shed a tear when I heard Ferry Corstens Dance Valley 2001 on the air waves. It was a tear of laughter! It has only taken this long to get the great tune to hit the airwaves? They claimed it was the newest rage to hit US soil. I am sorry but I have been spinning this tune for quite some time now.... And most americans dont like the melodies and pauses that trance is so well known for. It has taken me a full 6 months to convert my friends into the trance genre outta the same old same old progressive/college scene. It pissed me off that Ferry's shite hit the main stream here. On with Tiesto.

I have fallen in love with the ecclectic styles that Tiesto has. From the Chill of the ISOS series to the wonderfully wild side of so many of his singles & remixes. 643/suburban train/Flesh/Never Look Back/Lethal Industry and the list could keep going. Of course he could have a few duds, but for someone that has been DJing as long as he has, it is a godsend that he can still keep the originality and style of his music w/o jumping into someone elses style. Now the Moby remix I dislike, and the DMB remix which I love........ Does that sound like anything you have heard before??

It all comes down to one thing. PP. Personal Preference. I just hate to see so many of my fellow Americans dogging Tiesto and so uch of the rest of the world loving it.

I think every-one should just chill. Tiesto is experimenting man. Its not a big deal if he makes a tune that not many like, as long as he likes. I beleive tunes like Moby and DMB are a good way of placing vocals into as set with-out the cheesy-ness. I dont love those two songs but i accept them and open my music taste up to them, rather than complaining. By using this methos the tunes usually grow on my, I hated DMB put with pacience i appreciated it, Same goes for Moby.

The "Boy" who said Dallas 4pm Sucked, No-wonder you dislike Tiesto.
