ive tried listening to beatles, led, and floyd. but seriously does not remotely move me in any way, nor to i enjoy listening to them. i pretty much dont like alot of music with vocals.

i pretty much dont like rock n roll at all. LoL ever. and never liked or cared for music, until i heard trance, when i was 20.

though i found myself listening to some jeff buckley songs with a friend. he said that was his favourite artist, and listens to alot of hard dance and other various dance with me, and i found i quite enjoyed him. very sad, dreamy and drifty songs.

Yes fuck trance... it sucks... I even heard swamper is changing site name to classicrockaddict and the site to classicrockaddict.com

Trance fucking sucks... wtf is every1 here on... only people on (ILLEGAL) drugs would listen to trance. DONT FUCKIN DO ANYTHING ILLEGAL... ITS AGAINST THE LAW

What do you mean by "take seriously?"

If you're talking about music I find emotionally moving, then the best trance is up there with stuff like Floyd and Zeppelin, at least for me.

If you're talking about musical complexity, then of course the vast majority of trance will lose out to stuff like prog rock or much metal. But complexity doesn't necessarily make something better.

Lots of classical snobs use this exact same line against rock, you know.
