Shit dude, that's not a movie you take a chick to. Wouldn't want her to see the pee running down your leg.

lol, that SOUND! OMG best part of the whole movie, imo

edit,

on topic, this new movie is a lame attempt for MTV to be all like, "look at us, we care about stuff other than 16 year old girls, and we want to make our statement" or whatever. totally lame.

double edit,

also, i guess this movie is geared towards 16 year old girls anyway...i mean, you've seen the previews right? where the dudes look like something out of a exercise magazine or whatever. no one in the army looks like that. i mean, shit look at zewad's fat ass

I saw it for the first time in the theaters when I was in fifth grade - for some reason or another at that age I was fascinated with the Holocaust, so much so that I had a teacher and a concentration camp survivor who spoke to our class write a note to my parents saying it was OK to take me.

I made it about an hour or so in - to the point where the first woman is killed, point blank shot to the head, and was absolutely horrified. I made my dad take me home right away, but was clearly messed up from seeing it for a while.

I thought Pearl Harbour was historically accurate.
After all everyone knows Ben Affleck single-handedly won the Battle of Britain, then single-handedly stopped the Japanese from destroying Pearl completely, and then destroyed Tokyo in the Doolittle raids.
Completely plausible.

Not to mention the Pearl Harbour bombing sequence in the movie acutally went for longer than the real bombing raid.

Quality movie that.
