No I didn't post this type of thread. My thread was about people having nothing better to do than to just insult others who have a different opinion than them. Way different. this has got to be the most ill-concieved piece of garbage logic I've read all day. Sorry buddy, but every music scholar, critic, magazine, dvd documentary, book, you name it claime the beatles as the most important band in history. I'd love to see you dispute this. Only un-informed people dispute this.

I'm sorry but there will be no other band within any of our lifetimes that will come close to the prodigiously astrnomical impact the beatles had on music and popular culture as a whole.

No no. I never said popularity=quality. I dismissed their idiotic claime that people do not even care about led zeppelin or the beatles etc. aynmore.

Also about the beatles 'pop music'. Their earliest compositions were mainly rock ‘n’ roll or R&B-rooted pop songs with the occasional ballad. But they grew increasingly eclectic as composers, arrangers and performers over the years. They composed songs and arranged them in a wide array of musical styles – occasionally fusing genres.
