hmm um way more then 10 people. everytime there was a build up people really go into it clapping and cheering. at the end everyone was going insane for the last hour was amazing. as for it not being packed. i liked that there was space to move probably only a few thousand people.

i have to disagree. there is indeed a trance scene, though it's small. you really have to keep up with who is spinning where and when and go there to hear some trance.....that's the beauty of it though, it's NOT mainstream, and if it was, i'd probably get sick of hearing Punk out of every Pub in Fremont hehe....

inatrance, you're not of "legal" 21 age to go clubbin right? if not, then yeah, the only trance you can pretty much get is either at home, or go to one of those "great" raves in the area (they might not even have trance there)....

yup I know JM.. so basically.. I'm just gonna have to spin it myself, and have my own Punk parties

It may sound like I'm angry about this all.. and really I was.. but its not a big deal, good expirience.. set in stone that I don't like proggie, dnb, house, tribal, etc.. so I'll just keep listenin to trance; and play what I love

-inatrance

//edit
one more thing to add: proggie is totally drug music?? how else do you get into it..??
//edit

inatrance, its your own fault for expecting them to spin bedrock style trance. they spin progressive tribal house. i remember the thread on nwtekno, all the people sooo excited to go hear some "trance".. everyone kept telling them they would be disappointed. they chose not to listen. shrug.

that is a really uninformed sentence. there is a trance scene in seattle, you just arent old enough to get into it. in the last 6-8 months remedy has brought to the showbox paul van dyk, as well as lots of other big name acts.

Sasha and Digweed's sets in Boston were suprisingly trancey when I saw them, especially Digweed (which was a big suprise!) I don' think he'd ever spin anything like "Punk" though dude...

no, it is uninformed, because you said, and i quote:

quote:

this indicates without a doubt that you think there isnt a trance scene in seattle in any fashion. you didnt say otherwise, thats why i said your statement about that there is no trance scene in seattle is uninformed. you cant base if a scene exists on whether or not you can actually go to those events or not.

thats about as stupid as if i had said "there is no industrial scene" in seattle over the past 7 years, just because i wasn't old enough to go to the clubs that had that type of music.
