I agree - I find it wrong as well. It was very uncomfortable being in the park for it. There were some nervous giggles and stuff, but I got the feeling that a lot of people thought it was disrespectful.

The way I look at it is, if he was refusing to believe the polls about how many people like him, this should've hit him in the face. The idea of "respecting" an office regardless of the quality of the person who holds it is ridiculous. It's like saying a kid should "respect" his abusive, crackhead deadbeat dad. Fuck that.
