The 800 has both of those.

The 800 also has the 'Color FX' which are the filters and the bit crusher. I agree that the key changer is a piece of shit, and no one will ever find a use for it.

Personally I'd have gone for the 700 if it were out when I got the 800. There's not a lot in it.

Not a question for me I'd go with the Xone.

Add to that the ability to hookup your mixer directly to your laptop for a multitude of purposes and you've got a winner!

It has a built in sound card?

If the Key Changer is not worth it then think i am just going to save the cash and buy the 700.

THanks!!!

Not to cast doubt on your decision, but don't forget about the other 3 effects in that bank: Sweep, Crush and Filter.

It looks like it was made strictly for Abelton....but in the end i can't justify spending a grand+ on a mixer i have never used or seen used out before...people go with brands they trust and recognize and I can't say that about Korg. But yeah it looks effen sweet.

Not in the same way AFAIK. On the 700 they's just BPM effects aren't they?

On the 800 you can apply filter dry to wet on one channel, whilst applying wet to dry on another at the same time, whilst also overlaying a BPM effect. You can't do that on the 700.

But would you want to!?!?

the zero 4 and the zero 8 are made for live pa's i'm not sure he is wanting that.

i am an owner of a djm800 and i love it. the feel is great everything feels right and it's the best mixer i have tried to date. i love how comfortable everything is and located nicely.

best of luck on your choice
