the truth is, the scene likes the same thing, constantly.. pretty boring if you ask me.
only thing that changes is the vibe and the music.. techno progression. that at least is what I believe in.

I don't do this much for the hollywood effect of it, I dont care much.. but the king king pictures speak for themselves. red wherehouse, small..

but after years, and weeks spent there, wouldnt you like to take the crowd and the audience up a bit? bigger talent cannot effectively support some venues. a clean plate of raising the bar, underground sounds, above ground venues.

plus, a venue with more than one room, especially the mainroom with expanded lights, and wide dancefloor. although not as intimate, make for nice pictures,

For me:
- Parking Lot.
- Underground factor.
- Ivar reeks of Hollywood douche-baginess (that's right, new word bitches). Minus the loft.
- King King has great energy to it-- the people, the staff, the intimacy factor.
- It gets cold.
- It will be challenge to fill the cap. on that place.
- Chris takes better pictures at King King.

That's just my opinion. Compression just feels at home at King King, I don't know how to explain it. I was really amped up about the new venue, but it just didn't feel the same to me. Maybe Compression can do like Deeper Moods and go warehouse business. Ultimately, wherever you guys end up, I'll always support Compression because the talent is always top-notch and the parties thrown to perfection - whether it's in forest, train, on the roof, Compression is good everywhere Sam I Am.

was this a one off thing, or has compression moved out of king king for a while?

im with the intimacy/dirty over upscale people.
