i feel sorry for her whether shes guilty or not. Because even is shes guilty she does deserve proper due process.

The guy was a con man, and she worked for him as a chef. I think there is reasonable doubt as to whether she knew it was a scam. Remember he bilked people out of millions of dollars, which means he was good at what he did, so to convince one more person (especially somebody who was not involved with financing) would not be that hard.
