I remember a time when spoof comedy was actually funny. Scary Movie was absolutely hysterical. The 2nd was only okay. Went downhill from there. Meet the Spartans and Date/Superhero/Epic Movie(s) are absolute trash and are basically cash-ins on the stupid ass PG-13 teeny bopper crowd that will see anything that references anything in pop culture.
Now Airplane, Kentucky Fried Movie, Hot Shots 1 and 2, Wrongfully Accused, the entire Naked Gun trilogy...THOSE are funny spoof comedies.

c'mon man, whats the difference with someone hating your taste in music and vice versa. Its a matter of opinion. That type of comedy is not for everyone. the scenarios are so dumb, it makes them funny. Not all but some. Theres no point in the movie other than to make someone laugh, not tell a story.

Its tedious, just like every production these producers do. Generic repetitive jokes which were hilarious when done the first time (scary movie) slightly funny the second time (scary movie 2) Everything after that has just been utter painful to watch.
i happen to find that parody of jack sparrow funny.. Look at how he fucking runs like a piss drunk gay pirate.. Doesnt really show off too good in that clip thp, its kinda dark or something.
