I just bought the Umx-9 and it kicks ass, they even brag that it has less distortion than a vestax, and there is like no noise. I had a PMX 120 and it wasnt good, but the UMX series rox. min UMX-9 has 3 band eq, levels on all channels, balanaced xlr out and I only paid $150 USD for it, they are having a major sale on it at www.pssl.com

Its just like anything else, i would say the low end geminis suck but the higher end models like the UMX rock

I had a ps 626 and it's always worked fine for well over a year. At the moment I'am using a ps 1000 and it's one of the smoothest mixers I've used and compered to other mixers like numark it was very cheap £235 new.

i have the SHITTIEST mixer available to man kind... (next to the shredder)

its the Gemini PS-540i and its a peice of shit,

the faders are crap, the EQ's are crap, the kill switches dont even kill all the way, and the sound quality is crap, my mixes sound like crap too gahh stupid mixer...

by the end of this month i shall behold the pcv 275

hey my current mixer is worse. the stanton sk5, 2 channels, no eq, low sound quality.. my cross fader keeps getting looser and looser.. and the headphone cue has all this distortion and grain sounds when you turn it.

if you use only 2 channels, then should I, if I was you, keep my eyes open, there might be a cheaper deal with a 2 channel or 3 channel mixer. it's worth waiting then I think.
but if you really can't wait anymore and you have the tables and all the other stuff, just check the condition from that ps-700. and don't forget to ask someone who knows a lot about mixers to test it also. It's your first time that you buy a mixer, isn't it? If everything is OK with that ps-700, it sounds like a good deal to me.

BUT, he only use 2 channels, so if they worn out , he can use the other 2 channels

Geminis aren't that great. My old mixer was a Gemini PMX-80. I recently upgraded to a Stanton RM-3. You notice the differ big time

I say go with Stanton, or even Numark... but not Gemini
