thanks, i try to find stuff that doesnt have a lot of reggae bs vocals on top, which is like, 90% of it out there. i cant stand that shit. its getting harder and harder to find the good stuff that has very little amount of vocals. from that list is there anything you can recommend thats in the same vein?

Some forthcoming stuff:

http://www.myspace.com/matasyn (listen to Trackside and Duke St Dub, 2 last tracks in the player)
http://virb.com/sullyshanks (both tracks)

Lemme know if you like those. I'm mostly into the percussive/shuffley side of dubstep, so if you don't like any of those I'm afraid I can't help you.

Yay for good garagey dubstep. Just ordered Forsaken - Hypnotised / Fighting Spirit - what a tune on the A side. That vocal reminds me of some Todd Edwards stuff.

Burial's Raver and Archangel are my favorites, any recommendations of similar dubstep?

I was recently listening to 200 (compilation that celebrates the 200th release on Planet Mu) in search for some new IDM (I was not trying to be a cool dubstep kid), but I found a couple of gems that sound really atmospheric and somehow similar to Burial. Like:

Ital Tek - White Mark (I especially like this one)
Boxcutter - Good You Dub
Pinch - Pepper Spray
Benga - Broken Dubstep

Actually check out the whole compilation, it even has some great IDM (like µ-Ziq's new track), acid (Ceephax's (Squarepusher's little brother who's playing in Zg this week) new track) and just fucked up music (Venetian Snares - Devil's Totem). Highly recommended

Weird but dubstep always sounds very English to me, just like old prog and leftfield.
