Melodyne demo nearly tore my head off the other day, completely munted my whole system and I had to restart. Understandable though, your linking two hosts together with it. Also have had problems with some of the ARturia stuff, less problems with Native Instruments, although sometimes I lost the gui and it wont come back
Same here. Completely locked up Ableton and was entirely unable to open Live until I learned I had to delete the rewire bridge from a Reason folder. Kind of weird, but at least I found the problem.

Serious? Uses only about 4% cpu for me. I've had some Korg Legacy patches at 30%.
Battery 3 has been the worst for me. I had to go back to Battery 2.

Hehe, well mine wasn't that bad, I should quite complaining
I am using a dual core CPU and there are no plugins that drains my CPU much at all. However, running 2-3 instances of Nexus really drains my RAM. Even so much RAM i cant even save my project at times.
I also find Battery 3 really crappy and unstable, Battery uses more time to load than the rest of the project together.
battery and circle are my most favorite things evar

Wow, I'm surprised so many people are having problems with Nexus. One of the guys I collaborate with is an overzealous Nexus fiend and our last project had 17 instances of Nexus! On top of that, we're using Battery 3 and Stylus RMX. Granted, many of those Nexus instances are just triggering single-shots from the Dance Drums expansion, but he's using a Pentium D and I'm using an e6400 Core2Duo each with 2GB RAM with no serious performance issues.
@St.Michael - are you sure the BigTone expansion is installed correctly? I've used multiple instances of Nexus with patches from that bank and never noticed anything unusual about the performance.

i have had no crashes thus far. however, i do have one problem... sometimes when i have more than one legacy cell in a project, when i edit a midi clip on one of the channels, all the other legacy cell channels will mute.
Yea I think when your starting off you try them all but it really comes down to just a few at the end of the day, takes allot of time to figure what to keep tho.

Yeah, everything is installed correctly legit software Version 1.4.1 legit expansion packs from refx. I can run multiple instances of Nexus with over 40 other plug-ins and automation up the ass, but still Big!tone patches crash Logic 8 even if it is the only thing loaded in a new project.
My machine stats:
Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro3,1
Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 3 GHz

Boot ROM Version: MP31.006C.B05
SMC Version: 1.25f4
By the way, the guitar expansion also does this. Those are two of the few newer expansion packs from Nexus.

Not really a plugin, but Virus Control is very unstable for me.
If you're looking for strange crackling noises, stuck notes, loss of sync, loss of pitch, bizarre changing of patches...
Look no further, the Virus TI delivers!

With running the FL7 I haven't really seen any problems. The biggest thing is usually with the Arturia UI in the program not loading correctly, but that's something on FL's end (works fine in Cubase). I don't think I really run into any other issues aside from maybe a couple vsts being CPU hogs (ie: Massive).
