Yeah the price is what was really detering me...thx for the input def lookin into pickin up the Asus Eee and I already have Tractor and a MIDI mixer, that shouldnt be an issue considering the somewhat resticted speed and memory of the Eee right?? anyone heard of using that specific setup just to mess around...

According to the specs, Traktor needs at least a 1ghz processor and 1 gig of ram. The top model EEE only uses a 900mhz proc, and that's the only one with 1 gig of ram. All the others are 512 with an even slower clock.

For the $600 bucks that the top EEE PC costs, (that still wouldn't run it) you could get a refurbed/used laptop with far more power that would be able to do what you want.
