Well unfortunately (or fortunately, lol) we don't have one of those working at our company. Our company only has 6 people in it and we work in a shared office suite (that is, there are other companies in small offices throughout the suite). I'm sure one of the other companies in the suite has one of them, but we pretty much never interact or come in contact with people from the other companies.

This seems to be a problem beyond not using deodorant. I mean, unless he jogs to the office every day, I don't see how he could work up such a stink by 9am. I think he just doesn't shower, or maybe doesn't wash his clothes or something as well.

Tell him how this is someone who works for the same company and tell him how he works for this dept for this manager and all the people in the office think that you need to spary something on yourself without being rude......So he knows he's doing something wrong.

I would do that but for there are only six people in our company, so it wouldn't be quite as anonymous.

Man, sometimes when you go to the gym and there is some guy near you sweating hard and stinks...what do you do?? I mean some people sweat, a lot and don't smell but certain people have this smell....I don't know what it is...lack of sodium? too much sodium? dehydrated? i have no clue but its the worst smell ever.

make a nice giftbag, on the outside it could say "happy birthday". fill the inside with travel sized shower gel, deodorant, shampoo, etc. and leave it on his seat on friday afternoon. inside, you can put a note that says "from a friend".

he can look inside, see what it is, leave with it in hand without necessarily knowing that everyone in the office knows what happened. it's also friday afternoon, maybe he'll leave early and nobody will notice.

shit in your hands and smear it all over him, this way he will have to wash.

Here is a better idea. Go to target, or whatever store you want, and buy him some old spice deoderant, you know, the kind your dad wears, a tube of toothpaste, and a toothbrush. Set this stuff on his desk in front of his keyboard, or on his chair. I am sure he will get the hint.
