A Funasa não tem um programa específico para a saúde dos povos indígenas isolados. O órgão informa que a política é a mesma para todos os índios, sejam eles isolados ou não.

A Funai divulgou anteontem fotos de índios isolados que vivem no Acre, próximo à fronteira com o Peru. Há em todo o país 69 referências, ou indícios, de povos isolados. Ontem, Biggio corrigiu número divulgado no dia anterior pela assessoria da Funai, que disse ser 68. A fundação já confirmou 24 grupos e realizou contatos recentes com outros seis --esses seriam os beneficiários pelo controle epidemiológico.

Segundo Biggio, a Funai mantém contato com os índios à distância, em expedições aéreas, fluviais ou pelas matas.

I hope the three words in bold can give you an idea of what the article is saying: they're an isolated tribe (that's even explicit in the name of the place where they were found), but FUNAI does keep in touch with them indirectly.
