Even on a stock FD which stands for 3rd Gen (93-95 in North America), you could easily mode her to a 10 second car (1/4 mile distance).

Stock 0-100km/h : 4.8-4.9 secs.

I tested my ride out after 2 days of abundance..lol.....

All I can say is Rotary Engines are fucking amazing.....The car fucking flew....I am damn lucky to have one that well-preserved....literally felts the G's (gravatational force)....about 1/2 G when pulling from 0-160km/h. (I used to work in the Air Force )

As for the outlooks and ergonomics, I adore the best. Not that I am dissing the other Japanese sportcars, but this has got to be the one with the most attention. I myself own a 300ZX TT. Compared to the ZX, the rotary engine when started sounds exactly like a JET engine..

I am so loving the RX7 now that I'll not trade it for a European Spec engine nor chasis.

Tested Skyline's, Supras, M3's.....all I can say is...if you can afford one....you'll never feel the same in other sportcars.....extremely fun to drive....an A- handling, considering the light-weighted chasis.

My humble 2 cents

My humble 2 cents

DJ_Exon, I'll drive till this badass blows.....might go with a single turbo after this...heard that it clears up more space in the engine bay and easier to maintain and of course more chances of taking the engine to a whopping 800 horses..

Amazing ride except that it is a Touring package...still a relatively heavy steering wheel which accounts for good handling...like those ones you feel when you are driving a Ferrari or Lambourginhni.

My next target is a R1 or R2 model

i can get Skyline headlight assembly for $400....and tailights for around $300....

Taillight conversion with Skylines are old and boring now..the headlight is just catching on since everyone stopped doing the Sylvia headlight conversion....

but on that Honda Accord u show a picture of they look real good...that color is nice to...just needs to get rid of that enormous useless wing...

Uhhh.... you guys are all because that is NOT an rx7. That is a 3rotor 20b rotary from a japan only mazda luxury sport car (forget the name) kinda like the lexus sc300. It puts out 300-400hp stock, with about as much torque, kinda like a small block v8. They are like, the coolest engine ever to put in a car.

Back to the car, it is an old AE86 Toyota Corolla GTS or Tureno. They are popular fr drift cars in japan that you can see in the anime Initial D (best anime EVER). That one in the movie weighs probably like 2000lbs, and thats what happens when you put 600ps and 2000lbs together.

Rotary engines are the best man. So much more effecient and faster. I mean come on. The second gen was a 1.3li. It's the only car that doesnt have a redline. What do you think is better. I big rotor spinning easily around or 6 to 12 piston jumping up and down all over the place.

p.s. i don't have a rx-7 but would get one if i had the money.
