Yea I got that much

Please, as if the US is going to turn into Europe squared overnight -- if you have a passion you go for it, especially if it's one that you've been working on forever Sounds like Yan just realized that he doesn't really want to go to med school after all, which is fine, but it's beyond ridiculous to blame Obama for the decision No offense Yan.

I'm not really this excited about the election since my vote doesn't count. Thanks electoral college!

well it's only happened once that I can see your point.

Generally, I would blame the population of states since Electoral Colleges just nominate the president by Pop Vote.

It can count...... if you live in a state that votes in your favor. If you have a problem with the math then yeah you won't think your vote counts. I can only hope another thing like electoral winning the nomination over pop vote doesn't happen again.

But after living in Florida and casting my only vote in that state, I do think it's majorly important to vote. Do it vern.. Do it.

Has nothing to do with terrorists at all, i was implying that there are still a large amount of Americans who would not like to see Obama as president simply because of his race. Personally i no longer think the republican side is worth my vote(if i was of voting age) now that Romney is gone, so i currently support Barack. But i would not be surprised if there were a few poorly planned assassination attempts. Obama is a great candidate i just think that America is not ready for him yet.

Im tend to lean to the right these days, but my whole aprty sounds ridiculous when they say the economy is good, unemployment is low, inflation is low, they sound so out of touch, and Obama talks about change and new and blah blah blah, but his voting record is among the most liberal in the senate, he comes from the most corrupt political machine in the US, chicago politics, where he wentto bed with really bad guys in order to get elected, and now thats come back to haunt him. McCain is a good guy, steps across the aisle on a regular basis, but neither him nor Obama seem to be a visionary, they dont discuss whta they are going to do differently thats going to affect our pockets, bring down or at leats stabilize gas prices, and help out theregular JOE. Energy alternatives taht the public will see in a year or less is what people want, The left so they feel like "carbon heroes", and the right cause it stops padding the pcokets of those who want to kil us (Saudi arabia, iran), here is something we can all agree on, but no plans available. I ahte seeing the gretest country in the world look and feel so depressed-we need hope, someone to believe in-someone with a plan, but obama talks a good game, but nothing to back it up. If he steps into any debates with McCain, John will tear him and his in experience apart, Mcain offers nothing new, except the possibility of solving the immigration crisis. It would be nice if they ran a policy election-no personal attacks-but not sure tahts possible in 2008
well heres to hoping for some light at the end of the tunnel-God Bless america
