comes to mind. What a beautiful track. I'm not a diehard vocal trance addict, so I can't list many tracks for you off the top of my head. I'm sure others can fill in the gaps.

As for your other question, I myself love vocal trance, but not to the point that I listen to it exclusively. Vocals can really help out a track, hilighting a particular emotion or just helping out with the uplifting feel. I guess the reason why some people don't like it is because they feel it "interferes" with the rest of the track? I mean, vocals don't really work very well with some tracks. It really depends on your tastes.

hey thanks for your suggstions...I'm not a big fan of Iio's Rapture though, it's so...umm, clubby?? Don't know if that's the right word for it..sort of reminds me of Kylie's song...Can't get you out of my head...not exactly what i would consider trance...but that's just my opinion

Yeah, but anytime you add vocals to a song, it usually becomes shit.

If a vocal is added to a song that does'nt need it....of course it sucks...following examples

riva - stringer (they wrecked it)
rank 1 - airwave (tried to add a song to be vocals)
DJ Tiesto - Flight 643 (the vocal was crap)

Out of all the threads on vocal trance I've seen, NO ONE ever mentions probably the best of them all (if you ask me):

Grace - Not Over Yet
Check out the remixes of this by BT, Breeder, and Matt Darey.
Matt Darey's is a bit harder than average, Breeder is standard progressive style (still damn good)... and the BT mix? Well, it's my definition of uplifting, and my favorite song ever

Dog Running Hmm

Here is an interesting one:

Schiller - Ein Schöner Tag (Kay Cee Remix)

That song gave me the biggest chills when I heard Tiesto spin it in 99. ( yes it is a little older but it is still oh so goot.)

These are my favorite vocal tracks. Try these:

Sunscreem Vs. Push - Please Save Me
Orion - See Me Here
Tenth Planet - Walk On Water

Also, these songs have interesting "vocals":

Hemstock & Jennings - Mirage
Hemstock & Jennings - Crimson Soil
