On a final note, most people make roomates to be a lot worse than they really are. I mean, if you are anti-social and sit in your room all day, of course you guys will hate each other. However, if you are barely in the room and are only there to sleep and possibly relax for a second or two, you should be fine. People like having space, and as long as you don't blatantly trying to sabotage your roomates living experience, your roomate should be fine and willing to respect your equipment. |
From my experience it helps if you can talk to you roommate before the school year begins so you can find out what they are like. Sharing a room is not a big deal at all if you just communicate and ac civilized.
I only suggested not bringing your gear due to lack of space. At my school there is not nearly enough room to have a mixer and cdjs/turntables in any of the rooms.
