I think people are much more liable to make lists when they can bask in the nostalgia caused by listening to a heavily compressed version of the track in question.
My point is simply that this is a discussion forum, not a video sharing forum. I can go on Youtube and get the same experience- I come on TA to talk about music, not listen to it in a slightly muffled medium. There are a lot of concepts and ideas that can't be summed up by a grainy music video.
