I don't see the problem with either of the original signs. Both make sense if you give them the benefit of doubt.

bollocks. fucking idiotic non-sequiturs held up by people who dont understand the first issue in the debate. to trivialise deaths by firearms by equating it to an inability to spell is ludicrous.
i hope they both get shot. repeatedly. then i'll ask them if they like those apples.

I thought at first he had spelled "misspell" wrong and that it was an obvious dumbfuck mistake..not to get into the pros and cons of gun ownership but in its essence, his argument is correct and rational: Guns don't get up and shoot people any more than a knife will get up and stab someone. If there were some obvious lulz involved in one of the posters that's one thing, but shouldn't further debate over this polarized and done-to-death issue go in the official gun debate thread?
I'm no gun toting hillbilly but come on...

i understand the argument, and its still a load of irrelevant bollocks. nuclear weapons dont get up and kill people all by themselves either. doesn't mean everyone should be able to own one.

Eddie Izzard: “And the National Rifle Association says that, "Guns don't kill people, people do,” but I think the gun helps, you know? I think it helps. I just think just standing there going, "Bang!" That's not going to kill too many people, is it? You'd have to be really dodgy on the heart to have that…”
