That comment was aimed solely at people who download unreleased promos quite frequently (along with most of the rest of their music), not you or Glannie, whom I both know get everything via the right avenues. I figured both of you understood I know this, I guess my comment was too vague.

As for the last comment, I dunno how you get that impression since I've only gotten about 10 promo tunes the entire time I've been DJing, and I can count the ones I've had this year on 1 hand.

It's a discussion for another thread, but it really pisses me off when certain tracks get leaked that i really wanted to get ahold of, as say, proper digital release.

Why?

Mainly cos every gimp from here to Timbuktoo suddenly has that track in their playlist... not cos they love it, or have a decision they like it enough to part with cash for the track. But simply because it was there readily available to them.

Its completely different to personally getting the promo through correct channels and playing without leaking it. But i see loads of people illegally downloading and playing the same tracks - its easy to spot cos its always the same tracks!
