look, I never asked how to make deadmau5 or any other sound style, i'm just talking about quality and mixing of production.
Agreed with the samples point, I may use better samples.
About MORE ANALOG
Maybe UAD DSP PAK is more affordable, not?
I dont have enough to get a TL Ivory 5052, SSL Mixers for now
And about Moog Voyager (i dont know If I'll get this one), which audio interface to use?
So, thank you for the inputs

if i were you, i would buy a moog voyager or little phatty, an analog compressor like a TL Ivory 5052 and an analog outboard mixer. alot of pros use SSL analog mixing consoles. its all pretty expensive, so it will take you a while to get all of this, but your music just won't be that polished until it is passed through some high quality equipment.
You need to put a smiley at the end or something... noobs might think that you're actually serious.

There are certain things that analogue equipment/hardware can give you that soft synths/fx can't (and viceversa) but it really is down to how you use it. I know that's what everyone says but it's as simple as listening to your tracks at all their different stages of production.
The most important thing is getting the samples sounds right at the compositional stage. No fx, tricks or mixing techniques are ever going to make bad or incorrect (i.e. thin when you want fat) samples and synths sound as good as the right samples (or sounds) in the correct context.
It's bullshit that a lot of dance producers use SSL's (etc) and loads of expensive outboard to make tracks. So many great dance tracks have been produced on home setups but in some cases the track is made on home/project studio equipment and if it's getting a commercial release will be mixed in proper studio. Some things like compressors hard to really truly emulate with software but with the quality of things like the digidesign /pro tools plugins, as well as some of VST fx now available you can get amazing results that just don't warrant the expense of hardware. Why do you think sound control went bust?......
The main thing is that getting the sounds right at each stage, is the key to obtaining the musical identity you want.

I don't agree with this. You can make crap shine. You can turn crap into something entirely different. This isn't a very good example, but heres a shit kick i turned into something useable.. http://download.yousendit.com/2F91353B198FE918

Yeah I suppose it's much easier to get shite samples and spend loads of time adding fx and mixing techniques to make them sound like decent samples. A polished turd still smells like.......
