Well some DJs do that but it's highly advisable not to because any amount of nudging will sound obvious on the monitors.

there's no right way there's no wrong way.
If you beatmatch using your feet, that's great as long as it sounds well.
personally I just listen to the record how it is, then roughly guess where the pitch should be and then I only have to adjust it a bit (pushing and pulling record too)

Project T, I didnt understand your method...
Can you try explaining again?
Even though I can match fine very good I Still want to know.
Let's say u start playing a track that you were cueing a little bit earlier than you were supposed to, so you would try to slow it down by moving you pitch to let's say -6% and then when you hear that the beats are almost matched, you move it back to let's say -2%. If you hear that you need to slow it down more, you move it upto -4% for a sec and then move it back to -2.5% and so on...
Hope this will clear it up for you.

Ohhhh you mean a manual pitch bend
I do it otherwise, what I do is I moce the pitch forward or backwards for a sec and then move it fast to the point where it was.
Its hard but I'm allmost mastering it.

So that's called the elevator technique? It sounds cool enough, I've never tried it before but my only reservation will be that the pitch sliders are going to get "looser" and probably lose its degree of accuracy over time if this is done in excess?
