I partly agree, however I think that how the child is rised and what environment they grow up in is the main factor. If you grow up with a crackwhore mum and you dad(s) are in jail/committing crimes then your not going to think the same as someone who comes from a perfect nuclear family, you may want to 'get out' and get a good education, but all your 'friends' are lazy and are helping repeat the cycle of drug abuse and violence.
A lot of rap/hiphop gives the image to these kids that the only thing worth while in this world is chrome teeth and bitches
