oh something else to add is never give up.....im sure we have all been there.....fustration kicks in, things dont work...you just havent quite grasp things yet or simply starting out.

i think 2 very important things were left out

have fun -- the VAST majority of people who produce music never manage to make it their career, keeping this in mind, always enjoy yourself.

feedback -- get feedback from other producers and casual listeners alike... sometimes stuff that's "poorly produced" will rock the shit out of a dancefloor of casual or even avid listeners...
