It won't die, it will evolve into smth. new like it's been happening to it for the last maybe 10 years or more... Every year brings smth. different to the style, so today is too early to go to the funeral

The more you listen to trance the deeper you get sucked into the music.... I have never heard any music like it before for that reason...and that's why it will probably never die out...It will surely evolve.... but it is such a versitile genre that it appeals to so many different people

You can't say Trance will never die, because tastes change (usually when a next generation kicks in). The good thing is that trance won't die for as long as this generation lives. When you think of the favourite radio-programme of your parents: it sucks. This is what you're children think of your music when you hit the age your parents have. It doesn't mean that trance is fading away. Some people might argue that you can't dance to the music when your old anymore, but this is a shitty opinion. Do you ever see your parents dancing the way they used to? Without the dancing and partying there is still a way to enjoy the music.

It's just that time is a strange thing that does multiple things to people.

Trance won't die until we do.

as long as it stays mostly underground...it wont die. look at 2unlimited (not saying that was good at all...just a good example) you could buy that cd anywhere and they played those songs on every radio station everywhere. people got sick of hearing it. like most pop and rap songs. people are hyped about it for a few weeks and then go to something new. there is a lot of trance to download...i find new things every day, and most of them are quality...it will be a while before trance dies. with drugs becoming more prominent, and people SAYING this is drug music, i think its popularity will gain

Trance will die on August 24th, 2001.
No seriously, it will die in september 2002, unless the poor thing dies in a car accident or something.

Hello! trance will never die

Hopefully trance will go harder and all the slow trance will die out.

Some used to use the slogan "hardcore (gabber) will never die" but its kinda dwindled in its popularity and happy hardcore is dead for sure now (they evolved to happy hard trance)

All you listen to this here is the mian reaosn trance won't die but only get better. What is the difference between trance music and all other types basically? Most songs are based on lyrics. Trance is all music but the only lyrics in trance music is called vocals. When vocals are added most of the time it actually inhances the songs feel. With the songs that came out this year and from now untill the future were all based on someones immagination. I listen to alot of trance music like umpteen amount of songs per day and guess what I one could be the one coming out with a song just as good as dj tiesto or better if I had the resources ughhh. When one song influneces millions of people like ...(I can't say due to post string purposes) Maybe not me but all music is based on the immagination and that its self has the ability to make incredible music which everyone likes and plays around 10 times a day. I bet you reading this can in a small period of time hum a song to your self and say that can be an awsome trance song and one day will be.

trance will die when it stops creating the feelings of joy and pleasure it puts inside of us. and when it stops connecting people on such a level that only us(and many more to come), the ones who listen to it, can understand. and i dont think that can happen unless all of our great producers suddenly vanish off the face of the earth peace!

I disagree with you dwingo, and agree with eyes here...trance will never die because of this: Trance taps into your emotions..it sends chills down your spine...makes you feel happy..everyone wants to be happy...trance brings it to you...the day trance dies is the day humanity dies because only then will there be noone to make any more of it.

heh eyes. i was talking a friend of mine, who has no idea really what trance is. well, i was telling her about all the producers and djs and she goes:

"now what if one day, all these producers persay were going to dj at this massive rave and they all were gonna be on the same airplane. and the airplane crashed and everybody died. what would the world do then?"

i was like you're disgusting you know that!! DISGUSTING! hehee.
