Holy shit man that sounds wicked!!! was there alot of people for this year? how was the sound system?
I asked Rikard from Vibrasphere what he thought of the event and his immediate response was that the sound system was one of the best he's ever played on. I always find that the sound at Eclipse is crystal clear, balanced, and manages to travel throughout the festival grounds without being too loud up at front. I don't know how they do it but the sheer quality of the system is a major selling point for the festival IMHO.

I used to be a big psytrance fan, then got sick of it after awhile. There is a good chunk of psytrance that I don't like any more - but all around most of the music was pretty good.
For the most part, I don't like the night-time full-on stuff. It's a little too fast / hard / squelchy. But the early morning / afternoon stuff seemed to get into more techy-sounding that has a nice steady chug to it. The "minimal techno" trend is starting to creep into psytrance also
The friend that I went with generally dislikes psytrance, and often made fun of me for going to parties before or would cringe when I'd play it when he was around - but he also enjoyed most of the music.
The alternative stage played quite a bit of techno/minimal. While there is most def a focus on psytrance, other genres get some representation also. And, like any genre - there is your share of bad psytrance, but also some quality stuff out there. Don't be so quick to write the genre off as being all bad.
Pheek played the main stage on Friday night (although I wasn't there for it), and Metalogic cranked out their tech-trance boshke beats type sound also which I dig (similar to the Tony Rohr vibe).
Even if you are not a big psytrance fan - I'd say that Eclipse is certainly worth checking out.
Found this video of Hallucinogen - really creeped out intro.
That being said, I do recall laying in my tent and cringing when this came on and waiting for the pain to end.
When I think about it, even if I go to a normal club night from like, midnight to 4-5am, it's rare these days that I love/like 100% of everything that was played. Considering how long the stages went and how many sets I heard - having a few sets be bad isn't surprising and a bit 'whatever, comes with the territory'

That would be GMS. (I wonder if that was Sunday or Monday morning? You couldn't tell based on the choice of songs, that's for sure.)

I thought, "Oh right, if I categorically eliminate all other people, it's just me and her. She'd like that.
"Especially you" I said.
"You are virtually the ring leader, the way I see it."
Then, I blew out the candle.

That is right... the other guy doesn't like to fly. He is starting to get around Europe a bit but hasn't been up for travelling to North America yet.
