A good DJ should NEVER sound like that... it should flow smoothly and seamlessly... but most epic/uplifting trance doesn't always allow for that...

Listen to Max Graham's Cream CD 2 for a great CD that flows well with awesome mixing and great tracks that are nearly epic/uplifting... much better produced tracks than most epic trance. I think it's a good "gateway to progressive" CD, for those of you stuck on the epic/uplifting sound, because it's not as deep as most progressive while still being trancey, uplifing and energetic. There are prolly other CDs of a similar type that are just as good, if not better, altho I don't know off the top of my head... maybe an Armin Van Buuren CD, he usually has good flow.

The three or four Tiesto CDs I have just have no flow for me, so I never listen to them...

i dont like tietso bashing or any dj bashing for that matter, especially on their minor screw ups. the mixing isn't that bad in that set, i dont see what everyone is complaining about. tiesto is a great crowd pleaser, allways has been. he knows how to get the crowd going and he interacts quite a bit. just take a look at the pics from quebec city that someone posted here

every dj has his bad days, and it just so happens that we heard two sets in a row that have bad mixing techniques. he does a lot more gigs than we hear, and i bet they are much better, plus it all sounds much better live.

where can i download this set? i wana hear this quality mixing!
