They're is short for they are. Correct.

Today's shows a form of possession (today's youth, not some other time). Correct.

Dude, if you're (that is correct, short for you are) going to check people on grammar, you should have a fucking clue.

For the record, there are very few, if any, appropriate uses of the word todays, unless you can find a correct use of a sentence that involves more than one today. "Man, I'm really sick of all the todays I've had this week."

In addition to what Jive pointed out, you also have inappropriate use of brackets and sentences are only abbreviated if you are trying to shorten them (generally at the request of an English teacher for a paper, which I don't believe has been a problem of yours).

Why the hell am I bothering... I'm going back to reading about music and any thread this cretin is not part of.

Airwalker just some advice, friendly advice as well. I only just joined and it takes a while to settle down and everyone to find out what your about etc. I came on asking questions that have already been answered, flareing off when someone cracks a joke and generally flooding the forum with junk. If you see my first posts people really ripped me to bits. Reacting and trying to defend is silly as it will undoubtably end in people picking apart your posts. Things are much nicer here if you just blend in contribute if you can, accept the humour (which when its not directed at you is hilarious lol) and just consider your posts before submitting. I have deleted several because I realised its already been answered or that not worth pursueing etc. Chill out man I can see all you wanna do is hammer out tracks and talk trance so just do that!

The alternative is not worth thinking about LOL

Processing a highly structured and complex pattern of sensory input as a unified percept of "music" is probably one of the most elaborate features of the human brain.....understanding how music is perceived and how it may elicit intense sensations is far from being understood.

Few people are bothered much by an occasional mistake, but practically every post you make is filled with errors. That's when it starts to really annoy people.

Mr. Jive why inspire creativity by invoking a conformist attitude yourself?

Cr8tiviTee mAniFestz !N ynam 4ms..

As far as the music thing, I think people need a template to structure their evolvement on before they can reach a higher ground to explore new horizons.

Plus not being creative is just as creative as being creative. If you're doing *anything, essentially your creating *something.

The path you take to the final creation doesn't matter, once it is created you have already been creative.
I can boil an egg in water and you can create one by pissing on an egg for 40 years, but in reality you really weren't anymore creative then me if we're aiming to create the same thing, an egg or music.

Yeh I see what you're saying.
But in a way I see us as always kind of being in an era of music. Like classical music, or midevil music, now we're in modern music.

And we can be creative, make new sounds or something creative. But put it this way. I see Bennassi's "Satisfaction" track as something REAL creative, or just a track that sticks out as different from most.

At the same time it has a lot of common sounds and elements of everyday electronic music. So it gets confusing. Truely creative people to me also happen to be musical genious's (Beethoven for instance) someone who can literally start a new musical era.
Now thats fucking creative.
Everyone else is sorta of just living in their era.

So yeh I think creativity is important, but I also think you need to titrate it with what the age wants or expects.
Unless you happen to be a virtuoso, but I just don't esteem myself to that extent.

Any way at last ive found an equal beathoven was a geuines way ahead off his time considering he was deaf as a post. And the reason why he was so great was because he put a part off himself into the songs he rote.He went through a lot of shit ,troubeld you might say witch refelted in his work.he had very intresting formates.extremely dieverse shame he wasnt apprechated in his own time.
