Damn, you need to send that to Anjunabeats now! Actually, one question, is that percussion loops or did you build it yourself? Any tips if so? I've been making a lot of DnB type stuff but still can't get that really hard trance fast hats type sound... |
Much appreciated, I havent had time to polish it much since last time I posted here but you can hear a "promotional" snippet on my MySpace at www.myspace.com/sinnicahax . The tempo has been lowered and other elements have been added. I'm still fussed on how the mainpart should sound, but so far I am incredibly happy with this.
It's a mix of loops and own material when it comes to the percussions, the loops are sliced and heavy SFX/LFO etc though to avoid resemblance with the original loop. Dont mind the low quality of the track, he he. feel free to check out my other songs there aswell.

just another one to add - although i assume its fairly well known...
mixing at lower levels - really helps for a cleaner mix and shows up anything thats too loud! |
Definitely, I do a variety of both, mostly when I have recorded a track I turn the volume down, only to find several flaws and having to record the whole damn thing again. I must get into my head to lower the volume whilst editing the track at times too hehe
