My old cat archy, behaved like a friendly dog. I called his name, he didn't look at me, he ran to me. If I was lying down on the sofa watching tv, most likely he'd jump up on the couch and lay down right next to me, or on my stomach. A cling cat. Waited for me to come home, right at the door when I walked in. Slept in my bed every night, all night, waking me up in the morning meowing in my face. Wasn't a scaredy cat. A vacuum cleaner wouldn't bother him. I could yell at him, run at him, he'd more than likely fall on his side and curl up in a ball, like "pet me". lol..Really was a great cat. RIP 2007..
Wish I could clone him. But that is the perfect cat that I look for if I was to get another cat. I really don't care about breed, it's all about temperate personality, the more temperate, the better.
