K thanks all. Started mixing down today and it's not too bad through Ableton so I'm gonna stick with that and buy a new comp instead so I can go nuts:-p

I think there really is no difference in quality, everything is pretty high standard these days. I think that the main difference is that you have everything you need in your PC (if it's good equipt though). If your just really fond of knobturning a bangin' faders, you can always consider buying a Mackie Control or something equivelent.

IMO it's easier to keep everything inside your PC, it works much easier.
