kind of

I think I'm just holding him up to the standard of his Footwork set the 1st time he was here, which I knew wouldn't be repeated. decent tunes, but no real flow. I enjoyed more of the classic house sounding tracks he played. a couple from his latest CD are good, but not his best stuff, IMHO.

it was still a great afternoon. perfect weather to be out on the lake and nice to see several people I haven't seen in quite a while.

Kaskade is indeed pretty f'n hot (not normally my taste but...damn! )

Have to agree this was an awesome day on the boat! Luckily the weather held up, and the music was awesome all the way through. I actually really enjoyed Kaskade's set this time...more so than when he was at TiL in June. Even though i think his new cd is his weakest of his discography, the songs still work great in a club, and even though he focuses on playing a large chunk of his own music, no matter how many times i hear his classics, i still love it. Only beef was I was hoping it'd go a bit longer, until 5pm or so. If the promotors are reading, book kaskade again for next summer! great booking, and almost everyone looked to be having a great time!

1st half no, second half yes. I got bored real quick so I went downstairs to hear Jeff Button throwin down some sick tracks! Way better than the slow boring shit Kaskade was playing upstairs at the time.

I was also kinda pissed that we left the dock so late and we were back docked so early... fun boat cruise, but a 3 hour boat cruise is def not worth the $50.

Its annoying. I dont get why its happening. I always feel like Im getting really into the boat and BAM! its over. Whats up with that? anyone know why the boats are leaving so late and coming back early? Stupid.

biggest boat I've been on ,, i guess that is why everyone paid $50. All i have to say about Kaskade is the tunes were good most of the time.. .and I love that guys Sunglasses..

Barb, u were on the boat? I wasn't pissed it only lasted 3 hours,, I was just glad the weather was good... not too hot not too cold.

if anyone had to choose which boat cruise was the best,, would it be this one ,, my vote is this one (although this is only my second).

Haha I wish. This cruise sounded like a great time. I was just talking about the trend of the boats coming back early/leaving late.. its been happening a lot lately... which sucks because tickets are so expensive and cruises are so fun.

Just think about it like this.
youre spending 50 to be on a boat for 3 hours when you could spend 20 or less and *usually* see those same djs at guv or footwork for the whole night without worrying about getting on/off etc.

I love boats but its a bit ridiculous. Why don't the promoters/hosts do something? Id throw a fit if I was in charge and they cut it short. But thats just me.

Although we did board an hour late..i didn't have a problem with the length..the VJ's were throwin down some sick beats while we were docked...

I thought the energy level on the top deck was through the non-existent roof...and this was Kaskade's best set in the three times i have seen him in the last 2 years...i'm just happy i got to hear something besides the usual minimal...

and the boat is SWEET..love the booth setup upstairs..
