I saw a judge give a walker a yellow card for lifting both up.

Lifting both feet up would be a jump.

I would like to see you walk that long at that speed.

yeah, it takes a lot of training, albeit for something that looks really silly.

Pointless olympic sports imo include

the horse ones. sure, being a jockey takes skill but you could have a shit jockey on an awesome horse or vice versa. Plus i really hate the horse-type posh ****s.

Baseball - seriously? only america, japan & latin-american countries play it i think?

football. Awesome sport but why the fuck would we want to enter as 'great britain' when most of the 11 would be english anyway. In previous years, 10 Englishmen + Ryan Giggs. Now he's too old to be useful I struggle to find a player who'd get into the side from the welsh, the scottish or northern ireland. Plus add in that it's under 23s and you may as well just hold an under 21 world cup instead and get more effort put into it.

Why is walking stupid but running ok?

They're just different disclipines.

*not a particular fan of walking, just not getting the hate*

...because it's basically about who can cheat the best.

I have huge admiration for walkers; over any distance further than about 5 or 10km, these people can hammer along faster than most people can run.

Walkers are incredibly fit and brilliant athletes, but like gymnastics, diving and any other sports which include any significant level of objectivity (and thus bias), walking is fundamentally flawed in my eyes.

In 2012 Bowling is going to be entered as an introductory sport.

Other useless sports - any that are dominated by black people...Canada's black people suck at sports so we get no medals.
